Configuring the D-Link DAP-1360 Router To Act as Repeater

How to configure the D-Link DAP-1360 Router to act as a repeater?



STEP 1:

Connect the router to the LAN port of computer using an ethernet cable. Make sure that it is also connected to the internet to access the WebGUI of the DAP-1360. Just type dlinkap at the address bar to log-on to the WebGUI of the router. Default username is "admin" and leave the password blank.







STEP 2:

Launch the wireless setup wizard.


STEP 3:

Click next.



STEP 4:

Select repeater from the drop-down menu.


STEP 5:

Select the preferred method of configuration. Select next to continue.


STEP 6:

Select the preferred connection.


STEP 7:

Leave the default settings in the LAN interface.

That's it.
